Full description

A large Romano-British pottery assemblage recovered during fieldwalking by the Whittlewood Project. Distribution focussed on the centre of the field. Size of assemblage (347 sherds) suggests occupation of some significance, probably equating to a Romanized farmstead site of some size (B1).
