Plan Form - CIRCULAR
BARROW, WHICH MAY BE IDENTIFIED AS 'STONE BARROW' OF AN EARLY SAXON CHARTER. ON OPPOSITE SIDE OF ROAD IS 'KING'S WATERING PLACE', AN OLD POND. AT POINT INDICATED BY MAJ. STONOR IN A COPSE ON LINE OF COUNTY BOUNDARY IS A VAGUE MOUND. IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT EXCAVATION TO SAY IF THIS IS A BARROW (B1).
