Plan Form - RECTANGULAR
ST JAMES' PARISH CHURCH WAS ENTIRELY REBUILT IN LOCAL STONE IN 1854, ON THE SITE OF THE PREVIOUS CHURCH; THE ARCHITECT WAS J TARRING (B4,5). REBUILDING WAS IN C14 STYLE WITH CHANCEL, NAVE & W TOWER; WAS RESTORED IN 1901 (B8). BECAME REDUNDANT IN 1980, WAS DEMOLISHED 1982; PHOTOS CAS FILE (B7).
