Full description

FOUND BY WORKMEN 1751 A CURIOUS BURIAL PLACE IN THE FORM OF A MINCED PYE, BUILT WITH FLINTS, SEVERAL BODYS FOUND THERE IN SOME WITH EARPLUGS, ALL DROPT TO DUST SOON AFTER THEY WERE EXPOSED TO THE AIR (B1). MAY BE ROMAN MAUSOLEUM ATTACHED TO VILLA (SEE ALSO CAS 0292 & 1450)(B3).
