AYLESBURY FORMERLY A ROYAL MANOR: KINGSBURY IS TRADITIONAL SITE OF ROYAL RESIDENCE, USED BY SAXON, NORMAN & PLANTAGENET KINGS (B2-3). MANOR HOUSE STOOD ON UPPER OR NE PART OF KINGSBURY; HENRY II HAD AN INN HERE (B4-5). EXTENT OF ROYAL MANOR C.1155 GIVEN (B1) .
